2011 we recorded ten songs with Dava Gin and Ayo Dsaya and their friends at Budabeat Studio. A lot of percussion and backing vocals had been the main recording work. On top we tracked down the lead vocals of Dava. The other tracks of the recording are mainly generated in the computer and with synthesizers and samplers. Enjoy the video of "Usefo" which is finally released.

The rockabilly band Smoke City Rockers used our special offer for demo recordings and recorded a 3 song demo at our studio. All recording and mixdown work was done by Attila and the mastering was done by Adam. Hear the result yourself by listening one example. What do you think?

After various recording sessions, and many more detailed post production corrections, finally the 6 songs of the upcoming hungarian band Urbanus Legendak is ready. In this production all instruments have been recorded at Budabeat Studio, and post processed very accurately. Listen to the following song, and see the result yourself.

We are proud to count also Norbert Pavel to our clients, who is usually performing on the streets of Budapest with his Panart Hang. We recorded two tracks with Hang and Violin which will be added to the CD "Tales from the Hang", which you can only buy when you meet Norbi busking in the streets. We recorded also a song where Norbi performs on two Hangs at the same time. The Hang was recorded by using the Jecklin disk stereo recording technique. Listen yourself to this very atmospheric music.

On Saturday the band Cantus was our guest at Budabeat Studio. We recorded two tracks for the upcoming album. In the three recording rooms, the bandmembers fitted perfectly and we were recording the two guitars this time with M/S stereo miking technique. Hear the results yourself...

Producer Kris Shades was several times at our studio, recording vocals for some of his outstanding dance tracks. He was accompanied among others by the hungarian singer Izabella Széles, who is popular since 2005 because of her presence in the finals of the TV show "Megasztár". The song "I haven't told you everything" they recorded together can be heared soon on Radio 1 and it will be on VIVA and youtube

The recording and mixdown of the 6-song-demo for the hungarian band Meszecsinka has been finished. We used around 5 microphones for the percussion, 1 microphone for the vocals, 3 microphones and a line signal for the guitar, 1 line signal for bass guitar, 3 microphones for the upright bass and we used sample-based Yamaha grand piano and a sample based Wurlitzer A200. The band was playing all together in the first round and afterwards we added some percussion, guitar and backing vocals in further takes. The whole recording and the mixdown together with the bandmembers was done in around 20 hours.

The recording of five songs with the US singer/songwriter John Statz is finished. We recorded all songs in one take with X-Y small condensers on the guitar, a dedicated big condenser for the vocals and an additional room microphone. The results are great. John said he is very satisfied already with the roughmix. It was great fun.

The second demo production in the new studio rooms is ready, mixdown and mastering included. This time it was the band 8 utan, who played four hungarian soft rock/pop songs with e-guitar, semi acoustic guitar, e-bass, a bunch of percussions and of course the vocals. In the first take we recorded the lead vocals, the e-guitar, the semi acoustic guitar and the first turn of percussions. After that we did overdubs with e-bass, harmony vocals, another track of the semi acoustic guitar and finally the missing percussions.

The recording, mixdown and mastering of the hungarian world music band Gurumenta is finished. The final demo consists now of five songs. We used about 24 hours for the recording and about 6 hours for the final mixdowns and mastering.
