The recording and mixdown of the 6-song-demo for the hungarian band Meszecsinka has been finished. We used around 5 microphones for the percussion, 1 microphone for the vocals, 3 microphones and a line signal for the guitar, 1 line signal for bass guitar, 3 microphones for the upright bass and we used sample-based Yamaha grand piano and a sample based Wurlitzer A200.

The recording of five songs with the US singer/songwriter John Statz is finished. We recorded all songs in one take with X-Y small condensers on the guitar, a dedicated big condenser for the vocals and an additional room microphone. The results are great. John said he is very satisfied already with the roughmix. It was great fun.

The second demo production in the new studio rooms is ready, mixdown and mastering included. This time it was the band 8 utan, who played four hungarian soft rock/pop songs with e-guitar, semi acoustic guitar, e-bass, a bunch of percussions and of course the vocals. In the first take we recorded the lead vocals, the e-guitar, the semi acoustic guitar and the first turn of percussions. After that we did overdubs with e-bass, harmony vocals, another track of the semi acoustic guitar and finally the missing percussions.

The recording, mixdown and mastering of the hungarian world music band Gurumenta is finished. The final demo consists now of five songs. We used about 24 hours for the recording and about 6 hours for the final mixdowns and mastering.
